Cooking on a clean cookstove, Honduras

Since 1998 Trees, Water, People based in Fort Collins, Colorado working with local community members and partners have been designing clean cookstoves that greatly reduce deadly indoor air pollution, deforestation, and high fuel costs. These cookstoves are designed according to specific cooking needs and cultural context. This model is named after Doña Justa and known as the Justa Stove.
