Honduras. New Envirofit stove provided by the Honduran government. Often families who have switched to cleaner cooking stoves still practice “stove stacking” which is using more than one type stove at a time, usually the traditional stove and the cleaner one. Some use the traditional stove for specific types of traditional food and some use both at the same time. It can take time for the family cook, usually the woman, to switch completely to the cleaner cooking stove.
